Early Intervention Program

Behavioral Health Services
Emotional Support and resources for individuals and families facing life's challenges.
We Support:
- Individuals and youth with behavioral health challenges
- Families in crisis or transition
- Individuals with substance use concerns
- Unhoused individuals and families
- LGBTQ+ and BIPOC youth and young adults
- Individuals with complex or chronic health conditions
Bronx Crisis and Behavioral Intervention Program (BCBIP)
A short-term program (about six months) that helps parents manage their children's behaviors through education and hands-on support.
Program Features:
- Behavioral assessments
- Parent training and education
- Individualized behavior plans
- Support implementing strategies at home
- Progress reviews and plan adjustments
- Optional crisis counseling
- Twice-weekly home visits from a crisis intervention specialist
- Behavioral Specialist supervision
- Coordination with service providers
NHTD Waiver Program
The Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) Waiver Program helps individuals receive services in their homes and communities instead of a nursing facility.
Services Include:
- Service Coordination
- Home and Community Support Services (HCSS)
- Community Integration Counseling (CIC)
OPWDD Respite Services
Temporary relief for families and caregivers of individual with developmental disabilities.
All services are approved by New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and require an Individualized Service Plan (ISP) and service authorization.
