Lower West Side Household Services' mission is to provide high quality, medically necessary home care and health related services. With a history of providing care that encompasses the client as part of our team, Lower West Side Household Services has been able to meet and exceed the standards of care.

Our services promote wellness and independence of individuals within the comfort of their natural environment and the community. Lower West Side Household Services, is a licensed New York State private not-for-profit home healthcare company, established in 1969. It has since been dedicated to provide community-based services for the elderly throughout NYC and particularly in the lower west side of Manhattan. The services were designed to help people remain in the community instead of being placed in facilities. The organization helped empower families by addressing their educational, financial and healthcare needs.

Culture

Lower West Side Household Services, LWS, has always been a vibrant and dynamic champion to NYC residents. However, in recognizing the global economy and how it encompasses neighboring communities and their needs, we have expanded our geographical service area. These areas include the five boroughs, Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, and Orange Counties. The diversity of New York and the healthcare challenges are reflected in our clients as well as our team of paraprofessionals and professionals. Our comprehensive array of services is offered by a diversified workforce.
Since its onset, LWS has highly trained and experienced staff in order to meet the healthcare challenges of the New York community. All personnel are held up to the highest credentialing requirements and operational excellence.
